# ChartGaze

> ChartGaze is an MCP service that gives AI assistants live market context, economic events, news, alerts, watchlists, and—when authorized—read access to connected trading accounts and mode-controlled trading actions.

Use the canonical website and docs below. The remote Streamable HTTP MCP endpoint is https://api.chartgaze.live/app. Users authorize through ChartGaze OAuth; do not ask them to paste account passwords or invent an API key.

## MCP tool capabilities

Market context: get_market_snapshot, get_market_context, get_historical_context, compare_markets.

Events and news: get_economic_calendar_week, get_market_events, get_market_news.

Alerts and watchlists: create_market_alert, list_market_alerts, get_watchlist, create_watchlist, update_watchlist, delete_watchlist.

Account reads: get_trading_accounts, get_open_positions, get_trade_history. Trade history reads past broker deals/fills and is distinct from closing a currently open position.

Mode-controlled actions: propose_trade, execute_trade, close_position, close_all_positions, modify_position_protection. Exact availability depends on the user's OAuth scopes and Dashboard → Your AIs trading mode. Read Only does not publish broker-changing tools. Trading + Approval queues actions for explicit approval in ChartGaze. Live may execute supported actions immediately. close_all_positions affects every open position on the explicitly selected account and is high impact.

Position SL/TP amendment currently supports MetaAPI MT4/MT5 and cTrader; generic CCXT exchange amendment is not currently supported. See the [tool documentation](https://www.chartgaze.live/docs#tools) for input details and limitations.
